Confidence

As you probably noticed from the past few layouts, I'm really liking the contrasting frame look on my pages. I think this layout is a combination of the previous two...
I used: Jillibean Soup Monster Stew papers and journaling tag; Basic Grey small details and alpha stickers; Thickers; unknown chipboard tag and tickets.

See the ship?

This is one of the few "staged" photos I have ever taken. I had a "scrapbook vision" and I told my son where to point and where to stand. He cooperated so well, the photos even look spontaneous!
For this page I used BoBunny papers (Blueberry Stripe and Paradise Surf) and Rub-Ons (Imagine). Other: Jillibean Soup alpha stickers (Hearty Barley), Cosmo Cricket chipboard alphas (Red Robin), Queen and Co. pearls, Creative Impressions White Web trim, unknown white cardstock and lace trim. I rubbed a bit of ranger distress ink (Antique Linen) on the white alphas to get them to match the chipboard ones a little more. This LO was inspired by Ann Seleshanko's sketch #21-12 over at S:CY:
As you can see, I flipped the sketch sideways and added a smaller photo where the title/journaling was supposed to go.

Spot the fish

For this page I used a mix of different manufacturers:
The papers are Basic Grey (Lauderdale) and American crafts (Margarita). Core'dination cardstock, Jillibean Soup stickers (Macho Nacho), Sassafras Blossoms, AC Delights, Bic marker. This LO was based on the S:CY sketch #19-12:
I flipped the sketch to match the photos.

More Father's Day cards

This is the card I gave to my Dad (it was "spotted" on the Jillibean Soup blog today):
And here is the inside message:

I also made this one for my kids to give to my Dad:
The inside message on this one is a joke (so he wouldn't cry with the one I gave him ;) ):
For both cards I used Jillibean Soup  patterned paper (Macho Nacho Soup), die-cuts, stickers, card base, epoxy buttons and twine from The Card Kitchen June2012 kit. Other: Doodlebug Design chicken sticker, Glossy accents and unknown ribbon.

Train ride

For this layout I used October Afternoon - Boarding Pass - papers I bought at Apron Strings.
I made the train tracks with the Sew Easy stitch piercer (blanket head). Other: Thickers, WRMK floss, Crate Paper - Peppermint - paper, train brads from Eyelet Outlet. This LO is based on the Sketches:Creatively Yours sketch #16-12:

A day on the Mall

Sometimes I get stuck on a scrapbook page and it never seems quite right. On this one my problem was embellishing. The layout itself was a snap, but it looked very flat just with the map and paper (Echo Park - Little Boy). But most of the embellishments I tried seemed to overshadow the photos. So I settled for washi tape (Bella Blvd) and buttons (unknown).
Other: Thickers, Jenni Bowlin mini alphas, Jillibean Soup vellum envelope, Maya Road kraft calendar, Signo gel pen, unknown cardstock.

Teacher Thanks

it's teacher appreciation week at my son's school and I used the Simple Stories - Elementary - collection to make 4 decorated jars that I filled with Ghirardelli chocolate squares. Here are two of them, the other two went out before I got the picture...
Other: Jillibean Soup sticker tags (Dutch Mustard) and hemp. I attached the paper to the plastic with score-tape.

Here is a card I made for his homeroom teacher:
The ribbon I bought at Apron Strings, but I can't seem to find the manufacturer. I added Glossy Accents to the apple to make it stand out. The card base is from JoAnn's.

Cousins

The next set of layouts are from our trip up north in October 2010.

I mixed Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard and Apple Cheddar (papers, journal spot, alphas, stickers). The heart pins and twine are also Jillibean Soup. I added Glossy Accents to the heart in the center. Other: Bic marker and unknown cardstock.
