Halloween 2011

Haven't made this much progress on my scrapbook (or blog) in years. I won't call it catching up, just having fun. And using up my crafting stash so I can buy some new papers without guilt...

Here is a Halloween page:
Doodlebug Halloween Parade papers, card stock, and pearls from an old Apron Strings STBB kit.

The title is actually part of the wreath in the photos, which I made in 2011. Details in this post.

Inconceivably cute

2011 was the year my kids fell in love with the Princess Bride movie. It was a bit hard to find a Man-in-Black costume, but this Zorro one did the trick. At a face-painting booth, he even got "facial hair" like Cary Elwes.
Echo Park Petticoats & Pinstripes collection papers and stickers; BasicGrey fabric flower; American Crafts Thickers and card stock; Simon Says Stamp jewels.

Echo Park Petticoats & Pinstripes collection papers and stickers; American Crafts alphabet Thickers and Amy Tangerine word Thickers; unknown card stock.

Super Friends

It's been a while since I worked off a sketch. The layout below is inspired by a sketch posted on the Jillibean Soup blog.
I used Jillibean Alphabet Soup 2 papers, stickers, and other embellishments from the collection, along with my favorite paper from the Pasta Fagioli collection, and alphabet and stickers from Game Day Chili. Other: Wink of Stella glitter pen (on some of the stickers) and unknown black card stock.

The sketch is #295 from Creative Scrappers:

At the beach

I've been scrapbooking more now that we moved my crafts desk to our bedroom while we renovate the downstairs. While Dada reads aloud to the boys, I work on my pages. Here are some beach photos from 2011.

Robyn's nest papers and rub-ons; Prima and Queen&Co. pearls; American Crafts card stock.

Fancy Pants Making Waves collection papers and ephemera; Robyn's nest colored drops; Stampin' Up! and Ranger alphabet stamps.

Teacher thank you cards

Last month, I made these cards for teacher appreciation week. I glued a gift card inside and stapled the cards to little bags of truffles.
I used patterned paper from Jillibean Alphabet Soup 2  collection and assorted 3" x 5" cards folded in half.
